There is a reason pirates are told not to talk on their way to ambush an unsuspecting ship. With nothing to impede it, the wind carries the sound of their voices over the water and reveals their position—they would be met with an ambush of their own. We are not trying to encourage nefarious behavior (and some of us here at WorkCraft are currently participating in the never-ending battle: pirates vs. ninjas); there are plenty of other reasons to be out in the middle of the ocean at night and be quiet. Right?
Either way, though, voices travel fast on an unhindered wind. If you happen to not be a pirate, the closest things to an unhindered wind you probably have are the shout-boxes all over the Internet; #Facebook. And these winds can take you anywhere.
Using social media and the rest of the Internet is a great way to market yourself and/or your goals. And if you’re thinking “Nah, me hearties. That be just for the business-minded folk,” think again! Do you really think you’re doing anything else when you tell people, “Come to my birthday party! It’ll be fun, I promise!” Everyone markets – all the way from individuals to large companies. It is more than just a useful idea; it is imperative to success. It is everything the open water is for pirates…except in this case, it’s a good thing if people hear you!
Plus, Facebook already speaks pirate. Arrr!

Rules on How to Earn Wind Points
It’s been said that you get the most bang for your buck when Rules are written on Tablets. Though traditionally they were made of stone, we figured we’d try and keep with the times. Look through the Wind Rules by clicking on the Tablet below and going right. These aren’t all the ways to earn points, but, it’s a good start. Be sure to check out all 3 Levels: the higher the Level the higher the greater the Reward.
